Being deaf is lonely for 9-year-old Ishika especially on weekend visits to her Father. But when she steps into her special world of imagination, nature offers a much needed companion who helps her understand that saying "I love you" speaks volumes.
This film was made to empathise with and understand the unique world of a young deaf girl. Ishika is not an actor nor is she deaf- she learnt AUSLAN sign language from a mentor for several months prior to filming.
